Ich dachte der Osterhase
sieht anders aus!
Ich dachte der Osterhase sieht anders aus.
Doch heute morgen beobachtete ich,
wie eine Frau durch den Garten schlich.
Ich habe sie nur von hinten gesehen,
Ich sah nicht ihr Gesicht,
doch lange Ohren hatte sie nicht.
Auch hoppelte sie nicht,
als sie die Eier versteckte
und was ich als das Merkwürdigste ersann:
Sie hatte weder Hemd noch Hose an.
Nun frage ich mich ernsthaft:
Ist der Osterhase etwa so arm,
dass sie keine Kleidung
aus dem Schrank nahm?
Musste sie die langen Füße verkaufen
und kann jetzt nicht mehr hoppeln,
nur noch laufen?
Fragen über Fragen,
die ich mir stelle, doch egal:
Jetzt such ich erstmal ein Schokoosterei,
von wem es auch ist, ist mir einerlei.
Das wichtigste ist doch, dass es schmeckt.
So pack ich nun all die leckeren Eier aus,
jedoch ein Gedanke,
geht mir nicht aus dem Kopf heraus:
Ich dachte der Osterhase sieht anders aus!

I thought the Easter bunny looks different.
But this morning I observed,
as a woman slipped through the garden.
I have only seen from behind,
I did not see her face,
however, long ears, she had not.
Also she aren't lollop,
as they hid the eggs
and what I regard as the strangest devised:
She had neither shirt nor pant on.
Now I ask myself seriously:
Is the Easter bunny around so poor,
the fact that they have no clothes
from the cabinet adopted?
She had to sell the long feet
and can now no longer lollop,
only run?
Questions about Questions,
which I imagine, but no matter:
Now, I looked just a chocolate Easter egg,
by whom it is, who cares it.
The most important thing is, that it tastes.
So now I pack all the delicious eggs from,
however, one thought ,
is not to get out from my head:
I thought the Easter bunny looks different!
